Meet Rookie, a handsome Merle Great Dane with a heart as big as his paws. At 5 years old, Rookie embodies everything we love about this gentle breed — loyalty, intelligence, and quiet strength. He’s currently completing a light physical therapy program to maintain his muscle tone and joint health, and he’s doing wonderfully.
Rookie came to us after his previous owner could no longer provide the specialized care he needed. Despite the change, he’s remained upbeat and affectionate, quickly winning over his foster family with his calm presence and eagerness to please. He enjoys short walks, gentle play sessions, and lounging near his people — always keeping one eye on you, just to make sure you’re okay.
This sweet boy would thrive in a home that values companionship and consistency. He’s polite, house‑trained, and loves being praised for his good behavior. Rookie is ready to bring his gentle spirit and steady love to a family who will cherish him for the rest of his days.
