Zuko came to us after being found wandering near a farmer’s market, quietly following people from stall to stall as if searching for someone familiar. He was thin, tired, and wearing a faded collar with no tags. The vendors said he had been showing up for days, always gentle, never begging — just watching.
When he arrived at our rescue, Zuko was cautious but kind. He quickly warmed up to volunteers, leaning in for affection and showing his gratitude with soft nudges. His calm presence and expressive eyes make him unforgettable — a dog who’s seen life’s rough edges but still chooses trust.
Zuko’s story is one of quiet endurance and rediscovered hope. He’s ready for a home that values patience, love, and the steady companionship he offers so naturally.
