Mark’s journey began in a small desert town where he lived with a retired mechanic who adored him. The two were inseparable — Mark would ride in the passenger seat of his owner’s truck every morning, head out the window, soaking in the wind. When his owner fell ill and could no longer care for him, Mark was surrendered with tears and a handwritten note that simply said, “He loves people more than anything.”
At first, Mark struggled with the change. He would sit by the door, waiting for the sound of that familiar truck engine. But with time, patience, and affection, he rediscovered joy — greeting volunteers with his signature “hug” and leaning in for comfort. His size might be imposing, but his heart is pure gold.
Now, Mark is ready for a new chapter — one filled with laughter, long walks, and the kind of love that lasts forever.
